Out of all the creatures you can run into while you are playing this game, the World of Warcraft dragon is probably one of the worst. These are incredibly fearsome enemies and if you are not on your guard, it is all too easy to get beaten. There are numerous different types of WoW dragons that you can come across, and most are highly intelligent. They range not only in ages, from whelps to wryms, but also in color. There are currently nine different colors of dragons in the game.
You will also undoubtedly run into what are called World of Warcraft dragon flights. These are protectors of specific areas, and they are incredibly fierce. Dragon flights are made up of mature dragons and they are very difficult to beat in combat. You will also find several famous WoW dragons that are known throughout the land and feared by most. These include Onyxia, who is killable, but it won't be easy, as well as Eranikus. Many even have the ability to shape shift and their human alter-egos can be just as dangerous as their true forms.
Many World of Warcraft dragons will have items which you will need to complete your quests. Taking them requires skill as well as timing. Without taking the proper precautions, it is all too easy to lose when you go up against one of these WoW dragons. You will find them mainly in Azeroth, as well as Draenor. Most dragons have the ability to speak the Common language, but all will speak their own unique language of Draconic.
