World of Warcraft Raid, WOW Raid

One of the great features of this game is the ability to go into PVE mode and hold a World of Warcraft raid. If you are not familiar with how this works, it's pretty simple. The game allows for up to 40 players, divided up into groups of up to five, to take part in a raid. While this option is not available in all areas of the game, there are several places where you can hold a WoW raid and have fun. There are many reasons to do this, from getting more people together to take out a common enemy, or simply just for the pleasure of doing it.

If you do decide to take part in a World of Warcraft raid, there are a few things you need to know first. Any killing that you do while in this mode will actually reduce your total XP. The game has this as a safety feature to avoid having WoW raids crop up just for the sole purpose of slaughtering. Another important thing to remember is that you can't hold a raid on just any quest, unless it specifically calls for a raid to be performed. Again, this was put in place to prevent abuse of the system.

In order to begin a World of Warcraft raid, the leader of the party has to elect to enter into raid mode. From there, you can either play as your own little group, or you can invite others to join in your WoW raid.
